California Here I come.

Guess What?

I am moving to Tiburon, California in three weeks!

It is this little town just outside of San Francisco. I am moving there for one year and four months. I am going out there to Nanny for this family. And I have never been so excited! Maddie is moving into the town right next to mine and is nannying for their best friends.. could it be a more perfect situation? The family has two kids Tyler who is 4 and Lexi who is 2 1/2 they are so adorable. I will be living with the family. I have my own little room on the main floor and I work four days a week until six at night. And I get weekends off! Me and Maddie are going to spend lots of time in the City exploring San Fran and meeting new people. I am so excited to start a new adventure and get out of this hole and see the world! I am going to miss my friends and family so much. But the experiences that I will have will be worth it. I am so excited. I leave April 1st. Ah so crazy!

Motherhood

For the past week I got to play mom to these five kids! While their mom and dad went to Mexico. I grew up babysitting them on the weekends and I consider them like my little siblings! The last time I babysat them Lucy was still a baby and now she is in first grade! It was so weird to watch her interact with her friends and read and spell every night when we were doing homework. I had not even barley met Jayne and so it was so fun to get to spend all day with her she is seriously the cutest! Emilee is in 8th grade now SO old. So I got to get in on all of the Jr. High drama and got to be the cool babysitter and pick her and her friends up from school and go to taco amigo. Max is in 5th grade! And is doing more advanced homework than me.. He is such a smart kid! Abbie is in 4th grade and she was such a good help to me! I loved having a cute little family for a week

Highlights of the week:

-Getting to spend all day with Jayne.

-Dance parties in the kitchen.

-Emilee walking through the door everyday "Oh my gosh!" It amazed me how much drama could happen in one school day!

-Having all of the neighborhood kids over to play.

-Watching all of the dance performances and plays that Abbie, Lucy, and their friends would put on for me.

-Jayne had to say the prayer every night at dinner. They were so adorable. But of course all the kids started laughing cause she would say some weird things.

-All of the kids being so helpful with dishes and working so hard on their homework!

-Surprising the kids after school with a sonic slurpee run!

-Driving by Emilees boyfriends house.. I remember when my cousin would take us to do that.. I don't know why us girls think it is so fun.

-Getting woken up every morning with a little tap on the shoulder from Jayne.

-Watching Aladdin multiple times a day.. I think I have it memorized!

-Jayne saying "That's enough" about everything I did. Or " Sammy you look cuuute!" "thanks Jayne so do you!" "I know."

- Jayne singing LMFAO " Girl look at that body ahh girl look at that body ahh"

-Jayne freaking out overtime poker face came on in the car. "POKA FACE!"

-Going to lunch with Kinsey.. Jayne loved her. All week.. "We go to lunch with kinsee?"

-Spending a week with my favorite kids doing what I love most!

I am going to miss these kids so much! They are the sweetest and have taught me so much this past week.. I have such a bigger appreciation for moms! You are constantly working everyday. One day to celebrate them is just not enough!

Happy Birthday Maddie!

Maddie turned 19 on friday! I cannot believe it.. we are getting so old! We went to Chillis with Harris, Jessie, and Maddie Knowles. We invited people over for Cake and games after! I hope that she had a good day!

Sam got his mission call last week and he is going to RUSSIA! I am seriously SO proud of him. I love going to mission call openings you can feel the spirit so strong! I am going to be so sad seeing Sam leave. But I know that he is going to be an amazing missionary!

Friday Me, Cierra, Kylee, Emilee, and Sam all went and saw "Gone" That pshycological thriller with Amanda Seifred in it. It was really good I liked it.. SO intense.

Worst person to go see a movie with: Kylee. My arm was bruised from her squeezing my arm so tight. And that girl does not know what an inside voice is!

Best person to go see a movie with: Sam he made the whole entire movie.

Me and Cierra are the same person pretty much.. so of course we got the same treats. Wouldn't expect any less.

Such a classic night!

As of latley..

I am not being as good of a blogger as I want to be latley.I barley write in my journal ever and I want to have this as a Journal/Scrapbook and print it off when I get married.. and then start a new one. So excuse me while I fill in my future self the latest and greatest in my life!

I am getting so excited to move out in April! I spend most all my time with kylee we have been busy decking out and making cute pillows for our apartment.

I started nannying for this cute family Jenny helped me find. They have three kids but I spend most of my time watching this cute thing!.. I think I have found my new dream job!

I am also nannying for the millers starting tomorrow for a week while Kim and Jason go to Mexico. I am so excited to play mom for a week with my favorite kids!

I started reading the Book Of Mormon for this first time all of the way through.. I know it is so bad that I have never read the whole thing. But I am loving it. I have been keeping a scripture journal and writing down things that stand out to me and talking about my first experience so then the next time I can see what different things I can get out of it. I love having that time every day to feel the spirit and to give me a boost to survive the day, and make good choices!

I have been so happy having such good things in my life. I am so excited to keep learning and growing and to see what life has next for me!

Called To Serve

I cannot believe that I am old enough to be having all of my guy friends leaving on missions! Brennan got his call last week. Sy leaves this week.. and Sam gets his call on wednesday! What am I supposed to do now! I am so proud of them they are such amazing boys and they are going to make amazing missionaries!

Valentines day 2011

This years valentines day was the best I have had so far in my lifetime. I went to the Lady Antebellum concert with my dad. He got me tickets for christmas and of course... I chose him as my date! And boy was I glad I did.. he was the best date ever! When we got in the car to leave there was my favorite drink and a present waiting in the car! He gave me the gorgeous necklace from nordstrom. Then we went up to the mexican resuraunt in SLC called The Blue Iguana which was yuummmy. They gave all the ladies roses which was so cute! Then we went to the concert, which was amazing. I am such a concert freak. I go to every concert and then I end up being obsessed with them. Which was defiantly the case tonight. I love Lady A!

To top off my day. My boyfriend robbie. ( My friend Maddies down syndrome brother) we have been " boyfriend-girlfriend" ever since I can remember we used to play charlies angles when we were little and he has just always loved me I don't know why. But he always makes my day whenever he calls me or would write me notes at school. So today I got a knock at my door and it was rob with roses and a card for me. They seriously made my day. I love robbie!

I am feeling so loved and blessed today. I have such amazing friends and family in my life!

Last minute happiness

Sunday I found out that Mat Kearney was coming to Salt Lake on monday.. I was supposed to go on my birthday but I didn't end up going. So first thing monday morning I bought my ticket and convinced Kylee to come with me! Luckily em is back so she came with us too. He has such an amazing voice and he was SO good live. He was so nice to the fans and he played every song that I wanted him to, exactly the way I wanted. I was in pure heaven through the whole concert.

Yesterday I went to lunch with Maddie McC. I have not seen her in forever and we decided to have a maddie/sammy day. We went to rice king and then went with Kinsey to take pictures. We went down to the lake and it is so pretty this time of year. I loved spending much needed quality time with my oldest friend!
