Better than winning

Last night was the huge mountain view VS. orem basketball game and also my last game cheering! I was so excited for this night. This year we beat mountain view in football 32- 0 :) and in our first basketball game vs. them 48- 52 i thought for sure we were going to win. The night didn't turn out exactly how i wanted it to. We lost. 48-60 and our half time music got messed up and we didn't even get to perform the dance we worked hard on all month. But just when i thought the night couldn't get any worse. They put in a player named Matthew packer he is a boy at my school who has mental disorders he is kind of on the team like a co manager type thing. But they let him play! the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter they put him in! Everyone was cheering for him he was so excited! he is really good a getting half court shots. well the game ended we lost. but everyone was crying tears of joy for matt everyone was chanting him on the boys basketball team lifted him up in the air. At the end of the game our whole school was chanting " better than winning!" It is so amazing how that just relived all of the tension everyone was so mad but at the end of the night the game didn't even matter!
