A girls best Friend

For a teenage girl.. their best friend is pretty much their life. Getting in a fight with your best friend is worse than getting in a fight or breaking up with your boyfriend.. because your best friend is the one who at the end of the day is there for you.. its their shoulder you cry on and its their words of advice that get you through it all. But what happens when your best friend hurts you? It is hard growing up and realizing that your side kick your sister your best friend is going to grow up and date boys.. and chose them over you..and hurt you. The one person who you think would never hurt you.. and then they do.. and not even just a little bit.. they literally shatter you. But when it comes to boys.. is it worth losing friends over them? Like the whole no dating exs thing.. do you honestly have to date that one boy who will always be a sore subject.. it is NOT worth it so don't even go there. I have been burned many times and have lost some friends over stupid reasons like boys.. or he said she said situations. Is their some secret pact that you can promise to be best friends forver and for it to actually work out? How can you be so close with someone and then one fight can make you not talk for months.. or ever again. I hate how things change so fast. I hate getting hurt by the people you care about. After getting hurt so many times you start to doubt that you are ever going to ever find someone in your life who truly wants the best for you and who would never hurt you.
